Ingredients:
- 800g chicken wings
- 5ml / 1 tsp garlic powder
- 5ml / 1 tsp onion powder
- 10ml / 2 tsp dried oregano
- 10ml / 2 tsp sugar (optional)
- 2.5ml / 0.5 tsp salt
- 30ml / 2tbsp olive oil
Optional: add some cumin, thyme and/or coriander powder.
Directions:
- Preheat air fryer or convection oven to 425F
- pat chicken wings dry with paper towels
- combine spices in a small bowel and stir well
- drizzle oil over chicken wings and toss to coat
- sprinkle half the spice mix over the chicken and use your hands to coat the wings. add in the remaining spice mix and repeat
- place the chicken wings on the tray(s) of the air fryer, with some space around them to allow air flow and place in the oven for 7 minutes
- after 7 minutes turn the wings, swap the trays, and cook for another 7 minutes (confirm that the internal temp is at least 75C / 165F
